About
As a working mum (graphic designer) wife, and everything in between. I am a self-confessed craftaholic who in inspired each and every day by really clever design and everything handmade.
I took the plunge and first started blogging in 2010, not knowing where it would lead. It was a place to speak and share as I went on this fun little journey – as mum to my now 6yo daughter Molly.
MollyMoo is a mum’s blog focused on craft – crafts for children, and crafts for parents, craft tutorials, design finds and fairies of course! My blog is my virtual home, welcome in..
MollyMoo was humbled at winning ‘Best Personal Blog’ ‘Best Craft Blog’ and ‘Best Designed Blog’ in the Blog Awards Ireland 2012 – a hat trick :)

WOW…love it, fantastic idea and maybe I too could use the tips re. making food fun for adults too!! ha ha. Keep it up and I’ll help spread the word xx
What a lovely blog! innovative idea’s, anything that keeps kids away from the TV and gets creativity flowing, inspiration for all mom’s & babysitters.
I will be keeping an eye on this one. Best of luck Mollymoo.
Thanks Maeve. Don’t forget ‘the dads’!! although they don’t really like getting glitter under their fingernails.
Mamma Bella just linked you on her blog…sweet momma helping spread the lurve x
Congratulations mollymoo! Love the site.
Eating out with three young children in Limerick was to be avoided until we discovered the Bambino Menu for children in the Bella Italia, on Thomas Street. The kids love the meatballs with spaghetti and the penne with tomato sauce. Dinner, ice-cream and a drink for €8 per child, they are well fed in a very child friendly atmosphere.
Have you read ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ by Julia Donaldson, author of ‘The Gruffalo’
Fabulous story. Check out http://www.thebookpeople.ie for wonderful value in children’s books and box sets.

This is a great idea. I’m loving some of the ideas. Do you want us to post some of our own too? By the way does anyone know if anyone in the Limerick area does Kindermusik?
How do I get a password for this site, to view some of the stories?
Hi Treasa. Try KinderGym in Rhebogue. Give them a call on 087 6293002/061 603200 or email info@kindergym.ie
Hope this helps.

Send me an email (info@mollymoo.ie) just to let me know who you are and how you came across the blog etc and I can give you a password to this story.

With regard to Kindermusik, there’s a really brilliant Kindermusik teacher called Karen who has been looking for a suitable space in the city in which to hold baby and toddler singing – I went with Conor last Spring, she held classes in the community centre in Caherconlish and she really is great. A qualified music teacher (degree holder) and a mum of young children herself.
Unbelievable treasure blog!!!!
Hello Molly,
